''It's obvious that Trina takes a lot of pride is her BnB. The cottage is very well kept, stocked and maintained which is exceptionally evident. The surrounding property is expansive including a pool, fire pit, patio seating and chicken coop. There's also a cute tiny dog that comes to say hello every once in a while. There were many small touches that Trina provided that made the stay feel extra special such as the fresh eggs in the kitchen, beach towels and BBQ set up. It's absolutely worth being outside of Port Douglas for this little slice of nature. It's special to have a host like Trina for your stay!''

''The cottage has a great view on the garden. Located 8 km from Port Douglas, where a lot of coziness can be found.
The cottage is very fully furnished, comfortable and even fresh eggs in the kitchen of the chickens! When you wake up, you can look into the garden from the bed (but open the curtain😉)''

''Such a lovely space to stay. Very peaceful and felt very isolated from the main house. Beautiful view over their gardens and trees.
Super clean and everything you might need. Loved their little dog Jessie who would pop over to visit. We were also lucky enough to receive some fresh eggs from their hens which were delicious. Really enjoyable space to relax and BBQ in the evening. Close drive to Port Douglas, but lovely being away in the country. Would 100% recommend to stay''

''Such a well appointed place - Trina has thought of everything! Such a comfy bed and great shower and air conditioning. Little touches like jam, Vegemite, butter, cold water in the fridge, juice and sparkling water made it feel very luxurious. Loads of towels and things like dish washing tablets, fabric stain remover and washing powder for the washing machine (with a separate dryer). And don’t get me started on the world’s cutest dog Jessie who popped by to say hi! We loved our stay!''

''My recent stay at Trina’s Cottage with my mom was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Trina’s hospitality was exceptional. She greeted us warmly and even left fresh eggs from the farm hens, adding a personal touch. The cottage was spotless, with modern furniture and all the essentials we needed, including high-quality toiletries. Jessie, Trina’s friendly puppy, visited us daily, making the stay even more delightful. At night, we enjoyed gazing at the clear, star-filled sky, something rare for us coming from Asia. The farm also offers a basketball court and a swimming pool, although we didn’t have time to use them. The location is perfect, close to a World Heritage site and only a short drive to Woolworths for groceries. I’m incredibly grateful to Trina for making our stay so special. I highly recommend her cottage to anyone visiting Port Douglas or the nearby World Heritage site. It’s simply amazing! :D''

''If you’ve come to the reviews to determine if this place is as great as it looks, just go ahead and book it because I can assure you it is! This is easily one of the best we’ve stayed in. Trina was so helpful, giving us great recommendations. The property is amazing! It is far enough away from everything to feel private but close enough (to Port Douglas) to get there in a short drive. You can sit on the front porch and see many different kinds of birds (Cockatoos, so many!!) and while doing that, you can grill out on the bbq right outside the door. The trees are beautiful, there are tons of butterflies! Inside is just as great. The kitchen is perfect and has everything you need. The air con keeps it nice and cool. The bed is so comfy! I could go on and on about this place but I’ll just end by saying you should definitely book here!''

''Me and my partner Ray had the pleasure of staying at Trezise Cottage, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, Trina and Bevan made us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality truly sets this place apart.
The cottage itself is charming and cozy, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It has everything one may need! You can tell a lot of thought, care and heart went into every detail.
We had a wonderful time exploring the area and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Trina and Bevan were wonderful hosts, always ready to assist and make our stay enjoyable.

''Only have good things to say about this stay--such a nice property! Convenient location to Port Douglas without feeling trapped in a resort. The cottage is just the right size for a couple. Nice patio to sit outside and listen to the birds and look at the stars. We had some intense heat and humidity, but thankfully the 2 AC units cooled the place down quickly. It was well stocked with everything we needed (washer & dryer in unit were a plus). Would certainly come back to stay again!''
